”For a long time, we have maintained close cooperation with our U.S. counterparts in virology research. We’ve been in good contact with U.S. science academics in the fields of biosafety and the prevention strategies of infectious diseases,” said Yuan Zhiming, a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the director of Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory, during an exclusive interview with CGTN when asked about the cooperation between Sino-U.S. scientists. He said the lab would stick to broadening the channels of international cooperation. With more effective ways to provide better conditions for scientific research, he expressed hope that the lab would attract more global scientists and become a platform for international cooperation.
